Bureng Association UK

We aim to propagate unity amongst ourselves and to foster social cohesion with other UK based Gambian organisations

About Us

Bureng Association UK was established in 2012. It is a small charity registered in England and Wales with registration ZD09116.

The people of Bureng living in the United Kingdom agreed to come together and form an association called Bureng Association UK. We had a single aim at the time which was to stay connected, support each other in terms of hard and trying times but more importantly to keep the bond as people from the same village and be each other’s keeper.

Our Goal

Our key focus is to address, protect and serve the interest of all Burengkas living in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Our Commitment

We want to help our members living in the United Kingdom and Ireland to easily integrate into their local communities.

Our plans for Bureng

One of the plans we have at the moment is to adopt a ward within the village hospital. Once the project begins, we will set up a specific page on this website which will provide you information on that and any other project(s) we may be involved in.
